About The Practice
Lincoln House Surgery is a family friendly surgery situated in Birkdale and has been at its current site since 2007. Our building is a large purpose built, modern, ground level surgery and has the relevant disabled facilities available.
The practice was taken over in 2016 by Dr Sivaranjini Shyamsundar (Dr Siva), on the retirement of Dr Gana. Our team comprises of a Practice Nurse, Treatment Room Nurse, Health Care Assistant and a full complement of Administration and Reception staff.
Our practice is a 'Community Teaching Practice' for Medical Students from Liverpool University School of Medicine who may join your consultation, with your consent, under the strict supervision of your doctor or nurse. This is one way medical students learn to become our future doctors and understand patient views about their care. We would appreciate your help with their learning, but please let the doctor or practice manager know if you have any concerns or questions regarding this.
The practice has a Patient Participation Group. The aim of the group is to represent our patients and identify ways in which the practice could be improved and in any planned changes. We would welcome any new members to this group and if you are interested in becoming involved please follow this link: Patient Participation Group information link
